Update: Libraries Tasmania - Entry Requirements
Dear All
In line with recent advice that all parents and carers will be allowed limited entry to Department of Education schools and Child and Family Learning Centres, we wish to advise that the entry requirements to Libraries Tasmania public spaces have been updated.
Unvaccinated visitors may now enter Libraries Tasmania sites but only for a short period of time, such as to return books and collect holds.
To ensure that we continue to provide the safest possible environment for all clients and staff, all visitors to Libraries Tasmania public spaces will continue to be required to follow COVID safety measures:
- Only enter if you’re feeling well
- Wear a face mask if you are 12 years or over, unless you have a valid medical exemption
- Wash and sanitise your hands frequently
- Maintain physical distance of 1.5 metres between adults
- Check in using Check in Tas app.
Libraries Tasmania continue to strongly recommend COVID-19 vaccination for all visitors 5 years and over.
Kind Regards,
Katharine O’Donnell and Ross Latham
