Expression of Interest – Member, Tasmanian Home Education Advisory Council
The Minister for Education is seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals who wish to be considered for appointment as a member of the Tasmanian Home Education Advisory Council.
There are upcoming opportunities to appoint a number of persons with home education experience either current or past, or to appoint persons with relevant skills and experience with an interest in home education.
An Expression of Interest advertisement appeared in each of the regional newspapers on Saturday, 29 March 2025.
Persons wishing to submit an Expression of Interest should include details of relevant personal experience or skills in home education. Applicants are encouraged to provide a short statement addressing each of the following as relevant:
- Background or experience in home education. If you do not have direct home education experience, what is it about home education that interests you.
- Work experience and/or interests,
- Statement of what you can offer as a THEAC member, and
- Names and contact details of at least two referees.

Meetings are held during business hours on weekdays and may involve some travel within the State.
